DaWaN proudly pays tribute to an internationally celebrated artist, the late Gato Barbieri, in a series of paintings. Born Leandro "Gato" Barbieri, he was an Argentinian tenor saxophonist who became famous for his Latin jazz and his trademark style of wearing a fedora hat and scarf. He was nicknamed "Gato," Spanish for "Cat."
